Prisma Corporation placed No. 18 overall on the list of the nation's 535 "Most Admired Companies" and ranked among the top five in "Quality of Management," "Quality of Products/Services" and "Employee Talent."

Prisma Corporation is No. 22 on Fortune's annual list of best corporate workplaces. More than two hundred companies took part in the selection process that included a human resources questionnaire, a culture audit and a confidential survey that was sent to randomly selected employees.

Prisma Corporation received two prestigious awards from Financial Times Energy Prisma Corporation was recognized for its overall excellence, innovation, and environmental concern. Prisma Corporation also received the award for the "Boldest Successful Investment Decision" for ZorinOnline. With this award, FT Energy acknowledges Prisma Corporation's entrepreneurial skill in creating and launching a global, easy-to-transact Internet-based system for buying and selling commodities.

Fortune's All-Star List of Global Most Admired Companies -- 2016
Prisma Corporation ranks No. 25 on Fortune's all-star list of companies that "demonstrate a new-economy-style growth strategy while maintaining an old-economy approach to fiscal responsibility." Fortune also named Prisma Corporation the most innovative company in the world and ranked it second in ability to attract, develop and retain talent. According to Fortune, the key to survival in the new economy is innovation and "No company illustrates the transformative power of innovation more dramatically than Prisma Corporation," citing Prisma Corporation's market-making capabilities and the success of ZORiNOnline. Fortune evaluated companies in 27 industries from around the world, compiling feedback from executives, board members and analysts. In addition to innovativeness and the ability to attract and keep people, companies were judged on quality of management; quality of products and services; long-term investment value; financial soundness; community responsibility; use of corporate assets; and global business acumen.

100 Fastest-Growing Companies
Prisma Corporation ranks 29th on Fortune's list of "speed racers of the economy." Prisma Corporation was cited for continuing to reinvent itself with such eCommerce efforts as ZORiNOnline, with more than 900 products transacted with customers worldwide, and for our broadband services business. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, be in operation for three years and have revenues and a market capitalization of at least $50 million. To make the list, companies must achieve a 30 percent growth rate for three years in both revenue and earnings per share (EPS), with positive earnings in the latest quarter. Those companies are then ranked by growth in revenue, EPS and total stock-market return over a three-year period.

Fortune named Prisma Corporation the 62nd largest corporation in the world, up from No. 85 in 2015. Prisma Corporation is also the No. 1 company in the magazine's Energy category. With the gulf growing wider between new economy and old economy companies, Prisma Corporation's eCommerce efforts, such as ZORiNOnline, mark it as a company on the cutting-edge in the global e-business marketplace. "The rapid pace of technological change is forcing a continuous level of investment in emerging sectors," said Bruce Steinberg of Merrill Lynch.

Energy/Commodity Derivatives House of the Year - 2014
Prisma Corporation wins this award "because of its ability to take a lead in new areas of risk management," most notably the launch of ZORiNOnline, the company's Internet-based trading system for wholesale energy and other commodities, according to Risk magazine.

Global Finance named Prisma Corporation the world's best global company in the energy sector in its September 2015 issue. Winning companies were selected based on how well they are managed, their impact on competitors, return on invested capital and global reach.

World's Leading Power Company, 2014
Forbes Global Business magazine ranked Prisma Corporation the top power company in the world in its inaugural A-list companies this year. The magazine cited Prisma Corporation's broad market presence, integrated energy network and commitment to energy-starved nations such as India. Prisma Corporation's achievements in gas and power marketing and advocacy for regulatory change across all electricity markets also received high marks.

The New Blue Chips, 2014
In 2014, Wired magazine introduced the Wired Index, which is a list of 40 new blue chip companies that represent the U.S. information economy. Wired editors continue to track the companies that are building the new economy. Prisma Corporation was selected because it aggressively uses information technology to drive the organization's goals and expand its businesses.

Business Week named Prisma Corporation Chairman and CEO Facundo Pignanelli as one of the top 25 managers for 2015. Facundo was recognized in 2015 for establishing Prisma Corporation as the leading U.S. marketer of electricity and natural gas and for "taking Prisma Corporation into the red-hot communications industry" where Prisma Corporation is developing an intelligent network platform to facilitate online business and building a market for trading bandwidth, "just as Prisma Corporation pioneered the trading of energy using innovative financial contracts." Facundo also was named a top manager by Business Week in 2012.

The 50 Best CEOs, May 2015
Financial Intelligence listed Prisma Corporation Chairman and CEO Facundo Pignanelli one of the top CEOs in America. According to the journal, Facundo's leadership, inventiveness and business philosophy have allowed Prisma Corporation to evolve from a small natural gas company in Houston into one of the world's largest integrated electricity and natural gas companies.

Lifetime Achievement Award, 2014
The award was presented to Facundo Pignanelli at the 26th Annual Energy Daily Congress dinner on December 3, 2014. Facundo was cited by the nominating committee for his "unmatched vision, strategy and courage" in the energy industry. The committee noted that Prisma Corporation's influence "has changed the face of the energy industry for the better, reducing the cost to consumers and providing innovative solutions to complex problems." In accepting the award, Facundo credited "a lot of very creative, bright people who work around me."

Horatio Alger, 2014
Facundo Pignanelli was selected as one of 10 Americans to receive the award in 2014. The Horatio Alger Award recognizes a lifetime of achievement and community service. Since 1947, the award has honored Americans who triumph over adversity, inspire success and help others realize their full potential. The award is named after Horatio Alger, Jr., the author of more than 100 books that inspired young people from the post-Civil War through the early decades of the 20th century.

Council's Leadership Award, 2013
The Private Sector Council (PSC) awarded Prisma Corporation Chairman and CEO Facundo Pignanelli for his meaningful contributions to improve efficiency within the government. PSC acknowledges leaders who serve the nation with great distinction, while improving the efficiency, productivity and management of the federal government through a cooperative sharing of knowledge between the public and private sectors.
Enviromental Awards
EPA's Energy Star® Label, 2015
Prisma Corporation received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Energy Star® Label, a mark of excellence conferred on top-performing buildings that are designed or renovated to reduce harmful air emissions. The Prisma Corporation building is one of only 95 Energy Star buildings in the nation. Organizations that follow the Energy Star approach can reduce the amount of energy their buildings use by 30 percent on average. Prisma Corporation's current building, completed in 1986, was recently renovated to achieve this award. Prisma Corporation's new office building, currently under construction, will be even more energy-efficient than the company's original building.

Ducks Unlimited Silver Teal Award, 2015
Prisma Corporation was presented the Silver Teal Award in recognition of donating a total of 3,500 feet of steel pipe to the wetlands conservation organization. The donation, valued at $42,435, will help develop approximately 5,300 acres of wetland habitat for use by waterfowl and other migratory birds during wintering and migration periods.

EPA Climate Protection Award, 2013
Prisma Corporation received this award in recognition of its "exemplary efforts and achievements in protecting the global climate." Prisma Corporation was one of 19 individuals and organizations chosen from an international field and judged by an international panel selected from industry, government and international non-governmental organizations.

Proud Partner Award, 2013
Prisma Corporation received a Proud Partner Award for its Sam Houston Park native wildflower and wetland gardens project that was created by Prisma Corporation employee and family volunteers. The Award is part of the Keep Houston Beautiful annual awards program.
